SEGA Asia and Natsume Atari have released a new trailer for their upcoming release Shadow of the Ninja – Reborn. This is the fourth of the “16-bit style remakes” Tengo Project have worked on following Pocky and Rocky Reshrined, the Ninja Saviors and Wild Guns Reloaded. SNK have revealed a new character for the upcoming Fatal Fury game titled Fatal Fury City of The Wolves. Here we can see Marco Rodrigues in action.

MARCO RODRIGUES (Voice Actor: Earl Baylon) A Kyokugen karateka whose hefty, hot-blooded nature has earned him a reputation for being a beast in battle. With his dojo sign stolen by forces unknown, he has no choice but to hone his karate skills elsewhere in the interim—namely, at Yuri’s fitness club. Upon learning of a new KOF tournament on the horizon, Marco steels himself for what lies ahead: an opportunity to spread word about his beloved dojo, a chance to get its sign back, and (of course) a turbulent test of his Kyokugen Karate might.

Fatal Fury: City of The Wolves is scheduled to release in 2025. Platforms have not been revealed yet.

Bandai Namco have released a new trailer featuring Eddie Gordo one of the upcoming DLC characters for Tekken 8. He will be available on April 4th but will be available tomorrow for players who have purchased the Character Year 1 Pass. Eddie will be added to the game alongside the 1.03.01 update containing various tweaks to the game. You can read about those here.

Tekken 8 is currently available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.

New footage of the Switch version of FuRyu and Natsume Atari’s upcoming action RPG REYNATIS has been released by Dengeki Online.

Fantasy meets reality in Shibuya, Tokyo, where magic is something to be feared. In this action RPG, a young wizard seeks freedom through strength, and an officer seeks to control magic and restore order. When their paths cross, a darkness that will transform the world descends.

Bandai Namco released a new ‘Old Amasia Investigation Trailer’ trailer for their upcoming sci-fi third-person shooter SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada. Below is a description of the game from Steam:

SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada takes place in 2222, years after a mysterious poisonous rain called “The Tears of the New Moon” wiped out most of humanity and birthed deformed creatures that now hunt the population. Amidst the calamity, humans build an underground haven named Amasia, where they discover and begin to collaborate with forms of artificial intelligence called Magus.

In the game, players will step into the shoes of the Drifters, people who make a living collecting AO crystals, a rare resource available on Earth. In this quest they must face xenomorphic creatures known as Enders, while counting on Magus, their AI partners, to guide them through their journey, help them in fights, and provide directions, hints, and warnings.

All the while, they will be developing and strengthening the bond between player and AI. Gameplay and combat in SYNDUALITY centers around Cradle Coffins, armed vehicles in which players can fully control and personalize, from appearance to weapon loadouts, to fit their own playstyle. Players can also join other Drifters online to either help them in their missions or hinder their progress by fighting to loot their precious resources.

Team GrisGris and MAGES have announced the latest entry in the Corpse Party series titled Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion. The game is said to be released in 2024 but no platforms have been announced yet. For those of you unaware of this franchise, Corpse Party originated as a horror adventure game released on the PC-9801 back in 1996. It was later remade and re-released as Corpse Party: Blood Covered and officially localized on the PSP in 2011. It has since seen ports to other platforms including 3DS and PC. More recently in 2021, it was released on the Nintendo Switch and PS4. This release is not to be confused with the already released Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient on Steam.

Following up on a recent announcement that service for Mega Man X DiVE will end in September (the Global version will remain online for now), they have announced during the Capcom Showcase that a new offline version of the game titled, Mega Man X DiVE Offline, will be available later this year. This version will have most of the stages, story and characters. However, user data from the mobile versions can not be transferred. The offline version will not include collab characters or multiplayer modes such as Battle Mode, Co-Op, Guilds along with the rankings/leaderboards. More updates for this version of the game will be available soon, but for now, you can watch the official trailer below:

Mega Man X DiVE Offline will be available on Mobile (iOS, Android) and Steam in 2023.
