The three-man group of THRIVE is known for its professional and dance-inducing songs. Their leader Kento is quite a ladies man with a happy go lucky attitude. Despite his lackadaisical attitude, he will do everything he can for his fans, even the things that he’s not particularly good at. Some see him as narcissistic and he can be very stubborn at times.

Kento is voiced by Kato Kazuki.

The final group to join B-PROJECT, KiLLER KiNG are a group of four that are juniors compared to the other idol groups.  Akane is the groups leader, and is easy to engage with. He is always willing to help others, but sometimes suffers from low self-esteem. However, his fellow members know how important he is to the group.

A new trailer has been released for the upcoming RPG, Sky Oceans: Wings For Hire. The game follows Glenn and his crew of sky pirates as they set off on a journey. Set in a world where the surface of the planet was decimated, humanity has gone on to survive on pieces of land that were launched into the sky. The game features turn-based dogfights and the ability to upgrade and expand your airships.

Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire is currently set to be released for PlayStation 5, Steam, Switch, and Xbox Series S|X. Physical editions of the game are available for pre-order for the PlayStation 5 and Switch. A demo will be released during Steam Summer Next Fest on June 10.

The previously announced demo for The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak is now available to download for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. While there is no native PlayStation 5 demo, the PS4 demo is playable on PS5. Players will be able to play through the Prologue in the Switch demo while those playing the PS4 demo will be able to also play through Chapter 1. Try out the series’ new battle system which allows you to change between action and turn-based combat on the fly. Save data from the demo can be carried over to the full game once it releases on July 5, 2024. PS4 demo save data will be compatible with the full PS5 version. As mentioned previously, there is no demo for the PC version.

An exciting weekend for fans of girls’ love visual novels as Studio Élan was cooking at OffKai Expo. The publisher behind the very beautiful Heart of the Woods and Please Be Happy are coming out with a pair of blessed titles. Their names are A Tithe in Blood and Rainbow Valley! The first of which is, in their words, a dark atmospheric mystery written and directed by the great Suriko who worked on Twofold and Katawa Shoujo. The second appears to be a special collaboration between Studio Élan and YouTuber Izzzyzzz that features three strange girls and an even stranger valley. It should be also noted that A Tithe in Blood actually has a demo now available on Steam! Once you’ve checked out the individual synopsis, I encourage you to try it. Fleeing a life that you couldn’t bear, you sought to find a purpose in the mountains. The cold winds called to you and promised adventure. Rainbow Valley is a collaboration project between Studio Élan and Izzzyzzz, a YouTuber who covers older Internet stories and Y2K nostalgia.

Farmagia (formerly Project Magia): Product Manager Takehiro Ishida revealed the official title of the project, Farmagia, and presented the game’s opening animation, giving gamers an action-packed look at the cast of characters and powers they wield. Ishida-san also shared details on key characters in the game, designed by popular artist Hiro Mashima, including Ten, the protagonist who often acts before thinking; Arche, his childhood friend who balances both kindness and a competitive nature; Chica, another childhood friend with a more reserved demeanor; and Lookie-Loo, Ten’s sidekick and de-facto mascot. The title is planned for a global release in 2024.

STORY OF SEASONS: The next, as-yet-untitled entry in the beloved franchise continues its development as the team focuses on improvements to the visual presentation and natural environments. Series Manager Hikaru Nakano joined to debut a fresh look at the results of their efforts, highlighting how aspects such as updated natural lighting and festival fireworks have been improved to enhance immersion and atmosphere. The project remains in active development and will be fully revealed at a later date. In the meantime, Nakano-san confirmed new gameplay features including a player-controlled glider and the return of fan-favorite pets.

Amusement Section: Marvelous Inc. supports more than just PC and console entertainment and announced a number of new arcade initiatives including NARUTO: Arcade Battle, which will be available in North America this summer. Players will experience the world of NARUTO on a massive 50” screen, where they’ll engage in intense ninjutsu battles and collect plates to reach the highest rank they can! Arcade titles for Japan release only were also presented.

Indie Partner Lineup: The Marvelous family continues to invest in helping creative and exciting visions from smaller indie developers become a reality with global support for titles! Titles introduced for worldwide release include Bitsummit 2023 Grand Prize winner Death the Guitar, where players become an electric guitar fighting with the power of death metal to avenge their owner, planned for a 2025 release; and Moonlight Peaks, the supernatural-themed vampire farming/life sim title from Dutch developer Little Chicken, scheduled for 2026 release. One additional title, Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus, was also presented for release in Asia and Japan by Marvelous on July 28, 2024.

Rune Factory: Following a brief history on the evolution of the Rune Factory series and how it has grown across nine titles released over 18 years, Rune Factory series Director Shiro Maekawa joined the stream to reveal a new video for Rune Factory: PROJECT DRAGON sharing a look at the title’s protagonists. Players can choose to play as either Subaru or Kaguya, two new Earthmates with a twist; they will use the power of dance, rather than farming, to communicate and interact with the world around them. This new approach to interacting with the world comes with non-combat tools, including parasols and drums; series staple weapons like swords; and brand-new weapon types to experiment with, including bows and talismans.

DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion: First revealed during last year’s Marvelous Game Showcase, DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion once again closed out the show, where President Sato-san shared an evocative look at Marvelous’ First Studio’s mech-action sequel. Additional details including platforms and a release window will be announced at a later date.

USERJOY has announced that The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War, a mobile game based on the anime of the same name, is now available worldwide. It is available for Android and iOS mobile devices and for PC. The PC version was announced and implemented for the game’s global launch. Trails of Cold Steel – NW originally released in December 2023 for mobile devices in Japan.

Blue Archive The Animation, the anime adaptation of Nexon’s popular mobile game, has finally received an air date in North America. The anime will begin airing May 24, 2024 at 0:00 AM UTC (May 23 at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT) on the Blue Archive Global YouTube channel. The North American stream will have English subtitles.

Blue Archive The Animation is produced by Yostar Pictures and studio CANDYBOX. The anime began airing in Japan and countries in Southeast Asia and the Pacific on April 7th. Aksys Games has announced an official launch date for their localization of Tokyo Xanadu eX+ on Nintendo Switch. This port will have all extras added in the PS4 version, include all previously released DLC, and will feature an updated localization. It is scheduled to launch on July 25, 2024 in the west. The game was previously thought to release in June due to the February announcement trailer’s description.

It’s been such a long time since we’ve seen the anime, but we can finally read Mashiroiro Symphony! Shiravune proudly announced that both Mashiroiro Symphony HD remakes, Love is Pure White and Sana Editions, are now available. Originally releasing in 2009 by developer Palette, later turned anime in 2011 by Studio Manglobe, this feels like a blast from the past. All the art has been updated, the UI has a significantly improved look, and so much more. What else to say, other than the fact that it’s available for a really reasonable price! So what’s Mashiroiro Symphony all about?

Kagamidai is a blend of two towns, old and new.

Aniplex has announced that the artbook included in the PlayStation 4 physical limited edition for the English release of TSUKIHIME -A piece of blue glass moon- will have two modified pages. The artbook will not be altered for the limited edition on Nintendo Switch.

Aniplex went on to state that while the artbook would be altered for the PlayStation 4 release, the game itself will not be altered for both the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions.

This isn’t the first time something has been altered due to Sony Interactive Entertainment’s policies. Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal had an entire game mode removed prior to its release on PlayStation 4. Not even more well known titles were safe, as Devil May Cry 5 was also hit with extra light censors in its western PS4 release, though those were eventually removed. This, however, is an interesting situation as Aniplex is owned by Sony Music Entertainment Japan, which is under the same parent company (Sony) as Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). It appears other companies under the Sony umbrella are not exempt from SIE’s publishing policies.

So what’s Staffer Reborn about?

The Lieutenant, a man with the supernatural ability to resurrect, has reached the end of his life and awaits death from old age. However, his revival ability steals this natural death from him, sticking him in a cycle where his old age kills him every fifteen minutes. Players must step into the shoes of the investigator who takes the case, investigate the Lieutenant’s ability, and help him achieve eternal rest.

And what about Staffer Case?

Staffer Case is a new sort of mystery game, asking players to find clues, arrange them into documents, and point out the contradictions between them to solve a series of murders.

The game is set in a fictional version of London in the 1960s where 10% of all residents have some sort of supernatural ability. In this city, incidents involving staffers, the people who have these abilities, are constantly occurring.

Players take the role of the Mana Affairs Division’s newest detective, Notrick, in order to make sense of these incidents. Since the tricks buried within these staffer cases, at their core, revolve around the supernatural abilities of these criminals, conventional investigative methods won’t be enough to solve them. Instead, players will have to rely on the documents that explain what their suspects’ abilities entail in order to make sense of everything.

Fortunately, it’s not only the criminals who have these supernatural abilities. All of Notrick’s fellow detectives at the Mana Affairs Division are also staffers (Excepting gumshoe Notrick himself, of course!) The senior detectives use their supernatural abilities to investigate the crime scenes and organize their findings into documents. Testimonies that account for emotional distress, invisible trace that tells when evidence was left, even memories that remain in objects—find contradictions using the various clues at your disposal!

Each mystery unraveled leads you closer to the truth lying at the heart of each case!

With his dojo sign stolen by forces unknown, he has no choice but to hone his karate skills elsewhere in the interim—namely, at Yuri’s fitness club. Upon learning of a new KOF tournament on the horizon, Marco steels himself for what lies ahead: an opportunity to spread word about his beloved dojo, a chance to get its sign back, and (of course) a turbulent test of his Kyokugen Karate might.

So what exactly is Amazing Grace about?

“A holy night with no dawn, my dear…”

Shuu awakens, memoryless, in a town blanketed in snow that feels truly bizarre to him.

In this town filled with Europeanized architecture enveloped and closed off by a humongous wall called the aurora, there is nothing more treasured than the arts.

It is here in this mysterious town that Shuu is saved by its residents and allowed to live a fulfilling life with the students of St. Aria Academy.

However, this blissful life is eventually taken away from him in the blink of an eye. On December 25th, an unexplained conflagration brings the town to almost complete destruction.

Loving this town more than anyone, Yune decides to take destiny into her own hands and rewinds time back to December 2nd—the first day of Advent.

Why did all this destruction happen?
Why is it that no matter what they do differently in the past, it all still leads to the same future?
Why is it even possible to repeat these days in the first place?
And what is this miraculous blessing, this “Amazing Grace” that is said to come on Christmas?
