A new trailer has been released for the upcoming RPG, Sky Oceans: Wings For Hire. The game follows Glenn and his crew of sky pirates as they set off on a journey. Set in a world where the surface of the planet was decimated, humanity has gone on to survive on pieces of land that were launched into the sky. The game features turn-based dogfights and the ability to upgrade and expand your airships.

Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire is currently set to be released for PlayStation 5, Steam, Switch, and Xbox Series S|X. Physical editions of the game are available for pre-order for the PlayStation 5 and Switch. A demo will be released during Steam Summer Next Fest on June 10.

Kotobukiya has unveiled brand new pictures of their upcoming Ys VIII scale figures featuring Adol Christin and Dana Iclucia. First, they showed off the decomas (decoration master or painted prototype) of the red-haired swordsman, Adol. They previously gave a look at an unpainted prototype back in February, but now fans get to see him in his painted glory. Adol Christin’s figure is 1/7 scale and is will be available for pre-order starting June 18th.

Next up is Ys VIII deuteragonist, Dana. Dana’s figure was announced back in September 2023, the same time as Adol. However, we have not seen a prototype of this figure, until now. Like Adol’s figure, Dana will also be 1/7 scale.

Farmagia (formerly Project Magia): Product Manager Takehiro Ishida revealed the official title of the project, Farmagia, and presented the game’s opening animation, giving gamers an action-packed look at the cast of characters and powers they wield. Ishida-san also shared details on key characters in the game, designed by popular artist Hiro Mashima, including Ten, the protagonist who often acts before thinking; Arche, his childhood friend who balances both kindness and a competitive nature; Chica, another childhood friend with a more reserved demeanor; and Lookie-Loo, Ten’s sidekick and de-facto mascot. The title is planned for a global release in 2024.

STORY OF SEASONS: The next, as-yet-untitled entry in the beloved franchise continues its development as the team focuses on improvements to the visual presentation and natural environments. Series Manager Hikaru Nakano joined to debut a fresh look at the results of their efforts, highlighting how aspects such as updated natural lighting and festival fireworks have been improved to enhance immersion and atmosphere. The project remains in active development and will be fully revealed at a later date. In the meantime, Nakano-san confirmed new gameplay features including a player-controlled glider and the return of fan-favorite pets.

Amusement Section: Marvelous Inc. supports more than just PC and console entertainment and announced a number of new arcade initiatives including NARUTO: Arcade Battle, which will be available in North America this summer. Players will experience the world of NARUTO on a massive 50” screen, where they’ll engage in intense ninjutsu battles and collect plates to reach the highest rank they can! Arcade titles for Japan release only were also presented.

Indie Partner Lineup: The Marvelous family continues to invest in helping creative and exciting visions from smaller indie developers become a reality with global support for titles! Titles introduced for worldwide release include Bitsummit 2023 Grand Prize winner Death the Guitar, where players become an electric guitar fighting with the power of death metal to avenge their owner, planned for a 2025 release; and Moonlight Peaks, the supernatural-themed vampire farming/life sim title from Dutch developer Little Chicken, scheduled for 2026 release. Rune Factory: Following a brief history on the evolution of the Rune Factory series and how it has grown across nine titles released over 18 years, Rune Factory series Director Shiro Maekawa joined the stream to reveal a new video for Rune Factory: PROJECT DRAGON sharing a look at the title’s protagonists. Players can choose to play as either Subaru or Kaguya, two new Earthmates with a twist; they will use the power of dance, rather than farming, to communicate and interact with the world around them. This new approach to interacting with the world comes with non-combat tools, including parasols and drums; series staple weapons like swords; and brand-new weapon types to experiment with, including bows and talismans.

DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion: First revealed during last year’s Marvelous Game Showcase, DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion once again closed out the show, where President Sato-san shared an evocative look at Marvelous’ First Studio’s mech-action sequel. Additional details including platforms and a release window will be announced at a later date.

Nihon Falcom has revealed the platforms and launch date for the newest installment in the Trails series, The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria-. The game is scheduled to launch in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 26, 2024.

Shiravune proudly announced that both Mashiroiro Symphony HD remakes, Love is Pure White and Sana Editions, are now available. SNK have revealed a new character for the upcoming Fatal Fury game titled Fatal Fury City of The Wolves. Here we can see Marco Rodrigues in action.

MARCO RODRIGUES (Voice Actor: Earl Baylon) A Kyokugen karateka whose hefty, hot-blooded nature has earned him a reputation for being a beast in battle. With his dojo sign stolen by forces unknown, he has no choice but to hone his karate skills elsewhere in the interim—namely, at Yuri’s fitness club. Upon learning of a new KOF tournament on the horizon, Marco steels himself for what lies ahead: an opportunity to spread word about his beloved dojo, a chance to get its sign back, and (of course) a turbulent test of his Kyokugen Karate might.

So what exactly is Amazing Grace about?

“A holy night with no dawn, my dear…”

Shuu awakens, memoryless, in a town blanketed in snow that feels truly bizarre to him.

In this town filled with Europeanized architecture enveloped and closed off by a humongous wall called the aurora, there is nothing more treasured than the arts.

It is here in this mysterious town that Shuu is saved by its residents and allowed to live a fulfilling life with the students of St. Aria Academy.

However, this blissful life is eventually taken away from him in the blink of an eye. On December 25th, an unexplained conflagration brings the town to almost complete destruction.

Loving this town more than anyone, Yune decides to take destiny into her own hands and rewinds time back to December 2nd—the first day of Advent.

Why did all this destruction happen?
Why is it that no matter what they do differently in the past, it all still leads to the same future?
Why is it even possible to repeat these days in the first place?
And what is this miraculous blessing, this “Amazing Grace” that is said to come on Christmas?

The truth that awaits at the end of this endlessly-repeating loop will be written on this canvas of a town by their own hands.

A new video giving information and showcasing the battle system for The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria- has been released via Dengeki Online’s YouTube channel. The battle system showcase includes looks at updated Craft animations, and the video shows a comparison between the animation in Kuro no Kiseki and the update animation in Kai no Kiseki. In addition to the updated Crafts, the new Awakening and B.L.T.Z. mechanics were shown.

Certain characters can utilize Awakening by consuming  the Trance gauge during Field Battles. By doing this, the character can temporarily increase their combat abilities. With the B.L.T.Z system during Command Battles, if a character performs a normal attack, Craft, or art while having the AT bonus “Blitz” a BLTZ Chain or BLTZ Support will activate. This can help turn the tide of battle with benefits such as increasing the effectiveness of Crafts and arts. (Information taken from Kai no Kiseki‘s official website. A new mobile game in the Madoka Magica franchise, Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra, has been announced for release in 2024. The game is planned and distributed by Aniplex while Pokelabo and f4samurai will develop it. Pokelabo will handle the game’s operation. No other information on the game, such as its gameplay, story, and staff, have been announced at this time.

Aniplex and f4samurai previously worked together on another Madoka mobile game, Magia Record. Magia Record is currently still in service in Japan while its North American server ended service in 2020. Pokelabo is known for their work on the now shutdown mobile game, SINoALICE.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra is scheduled to launch 2024 in Japan. If you’re interested in the game, you can follow its official X account and check out its official website.

Ahead of the game’s launch on April 26, 2024, SHIFT UP took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and assured players that Stellar Blade would be uncensored in all countries, including Japan. This is certainly great news as sometimes games would have to be edited to meet certain guidelines, whether it be by a country’s rating organization (such as the ESRB, PEGI, or CERO) to meet a certain age rating, or even by the console’s parent company. Being able to get through all that regulatory red tape and still come out with the game uncensored for every country is quite the achievement, and Shift Up should be proud.

If you’re interested in the game, a demo is currently available to download on the PlayStation Store. You will be able to carry over your save data from the demo to the full game once it launches.

It has been announced that El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron HD will be coming to the Switch soon. The remaster of the 2011 title will feature some improvements such as improved framerate and optimized loading. Some new content that has been added will include an artbook and the post-ending novel “Lucifer’s Fall Chronicles of Ceta“.

The second major DLC for Fate/Samurai Remnant, “Record’s Fragment – Yagyu Sword Chronicles”, is available to download now. In this new content, Miyamoto Iori and Saber must investigate and solve mysterious murders taking place in the streets of Edo. Players will get to work together with a new Rogue Servant, Yagyu Munenori (CV. Chikahiro Kobayashi), to find the one responsible for these killings and bring peace back to Edo.

In order to access the DLC, players must reach Chapter 3 “My Mind Bides on the Battlefield”. You can select the new content once you’re able to move freely on the Edo Map.

The day after being fired from the horrible company he had been working at for many years, Shoichi Harama arrives on a remote southern island located hundreds of kilometers from the city.

It has been announced that Beyond the Ice Palace 2 will be coming to consoles and Steam later this year. The game is a sequel to the Commodore 64 game and puts you into the role of the Cursed King. Using the chains that restrained the Cursed King, you will take on demons to reclaim the throne. If you are interested in a physical copy, you can pre-order either the Switch or PlayStation 5 version of the game.

Beyond the Ice Palace 2 will be coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.

A fantasy world where magic exists.

Wilfried Heisenburg, son of the governor of Groessen and his army continue their quest to reclaim territories lost to the Witches and turns toward Greiz, the political center of Groessen. Once a thriving city with trains that run from there to the royal capital, it has all the appearances of an eerie ghost town. With Herford and Cologne liberated, only the Witch of Greiz remains.

As Wilfried’s forces march on Greiz, the fated hour also approaches as if to ridicule him. Thus begins his final battle.
