Our Corporate Partners

MEET SOME OF OUR CORPORATE PARTNERS...

Columbia Threadneedle Foundation is proud to be Principal Corporate Partner of Access Sport.

At Columbia Threadneedle, we view philanthropy as investment in the future, with returns measured not in pounds but rather lives impacted and transformed. Columbia Threadneedle Foundation invests in the community by partnering with charities that share our goals and values. An approach that not only delivers improvement to individual lives, but brings long-term benefit to the community by helping address critical social issues and drive lasting social change.

We have partnered with Access Sport since 2013. Over the years our support has allowed Access Sport to enable thousands of disadvantaged young people to develop the core physical literacy skills of running, cycling and swimming. Our funding will specifically enable inactive teenagers to become active and enjoy one or more of these sports, benefitting from lifestyle and health improvements.

SEGA Europe came on board as Access Sport's Official Video Games Partner

At the end of 2015, SEGA embarked on a formal partnership with Access Sport, having supported our 'A Question of Access Sport Dinner for a number of years.

SEGA have since raised significant funds through various initiatives, including the popular Humble Bundle, enabling us to continue giving many more children and young people, living in inner city areas, the chance to enjoy and benefit from access to quality local community sport.

Furthermore, this summer, the Access Sport team were thrilled to be shortlisted and then voted as a GamesAid charity, receiving an incredible £23,680.

POPCORN PR COMES ON BOARD AS PRO BONO PR PARTNER TO HELP LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD

At Popcorn we believe in powerful campaigns, powered by people – from the people at Popcorn creating relevant and relatable campaigns, through to the people we then influence taking positive action. This people-centric approach gives us an authentic synergy with Access Sport, a charity which works tirelessly to make sport accessible to everyone regardless of postcode or privilege, whilst championing physical activity as a gateway to a stronger community, increased inclusivity and improved mental health and happiness.

Since the start of 2020, the award-winning Popcorn team has generously invested its knowledge, industry insight and passion for Access Sport into initiatives targeted at driving awareness of the charity’s work. This has included significant case study coverage in regional and national press. Popcorn will be working on a long-term pro bono basis with Access Sport, driving awareness through case study coverage, ambassador advocacy, powerful partnerships, social fundraising and event support, effectively growing both reach and recognition.

Our partnership will help Access Sport raise its voice in its work advocating for inclusion in all community sport and greater support for disabled and disadvantaged young people.
